WE ARE HIRING!
We are hiring research assistants to work on two separate projects. The first project is to uncover the how cis-regulatory sequences affect exon recognition in human pre-mRNA splicing. The second project is to help better understand how odors bind to olfactory receptors in mouse and humans. Both projects rely on generating large libraries of sequences, coupled with next-generation functional screens, to attack these problems in more systematic ways. We're looking for people that are comfortable with molecular biology (cloning, PCR, etc) and ideally cell culture. Any kind of computational and genomics background would also be a huge plus.
